Athens Technology Center (ATC) seeks for a Junior IT Support Technician (Ref: EJITST1).
Description:
- Install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure
- Provides advice and guidance to colleagues regarding incidents
- Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals with routine maintenance
- Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems
- Create, maintain, and distribute reports of progress to senior leadership
- Explain and document technical issues in a clear way to clients
- Work both internally and on customer sites
Candidate qualifications/profile
Minimum requirements
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of the operational and support aspects of computer systems, hardware, software and peripheral equipment
- Windows OS level knowledge
- MS Office experience
- Understanding of network configuration
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbally and written
Additional experience in any of the following fields is a plus
- 1st level and/or 2nd level support experience (desirable)
- Active Directory experience
- iOS and Android devices
- Office 365
- VPN solutions
- Awareness of ITIL, or certification
- Familiarity with reporting tools and ticketing
- Server management
