KNOW THE ROLE
Our Multichannel team are looking for an experienced Digital Magazine Designer to join their team. Our Head Office in South Anne Street is a hub of creativity, style and innovation. Having an open plan space makes it easy to share ideas and be inspired daily. Our team is looking for commercial web development projects understanding the use of database technology, content management systems, e-commerce websites and current trends. Experience with social media, viral campaign creation and visual email marketing solution.
KNOW WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Responsible for creating and designing Brown Thomas digital Magazine and magazine/marketing graphics from concept to delivery to tight deadlines.
Ensure a visually memorable and exciting brand experience via excellent design which is consistent with tone of voice, brand guidelines and our vision to elevate brand editorial.
Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop magazine features in digital format – taking into account mobile first approach and the responsive environment.
Support on advertising, social and campaign banners for digital magazine and social as well as additional marketing collateral.
Responsible for technical updates to the magazine and involved with the development of the magazine – especially around the Brown Thomas App.
Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop magazine features.
Responsible for updates to the magazine, from artwork concepts to tech delivery, liaising with Creative, Marketing & Merchandising Departments for support on artwork, copy and products to ensure consistency and accurate representation of core brand values.
Work closely with the Head of Marketing, Brown Thomas Magazine Editor and Digital Magazine executive to create yearly output of 6 issues per year.
Experience with industry standard design packages such as PhotoShop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and InDesign along with experience with frontend development.
Strong understanding of SEO techniques and implementation via HTML and partner technologies.
