We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to fulfil the role of Product Content Coordinator with a speciality in copywriting.
In this role you will be responsible for writing product copy and the tracking and monitoring of products through the enrichment workflow. You will ensure all products have copy according to the Brown Thomas brand house style and publish products to site within our time to site requirements. You will also assist in requesting supplier imagery and content, coordinating product priorities and ensuring brand and copy guidelines are up-to-date for our remote copywriters.
You will make sure that the content and copywriting delivered fulfils the business needs. Each product division has its own set of predefined copy standards and requirements which improve SEO, CTR, data acquisition and conversion, while projecting the right brand image across various digital channels and giving Brown Thomas an authoritative voice in the market. The focus for copywriting will be on product descriptions.
KNOW THE ROLE
Create engaging and informative product descriptions highlighting unique selling points, technical descriptions, product care and measurements.
Keyword/phrase inclusion and getting the correct keyword density in line with Google best practice and business requirements.
Provide a consistent tone of voice in line with current house style.
Creating concise, informative copy and calls to action that attract user response, increased time on site, repeat visits, and untimely conversion.
Product data management, uploading, manipulation, editing, organising for all categories on website.
Conduct quality control audits of copy and imagery from our outsourced photography studio to ensure that it meets the business’ standards/requirements.
Support in monitoring and tracking of received copy and imagery provided by outsourced studio.
Add additional categorisation and attribution data to products and upload products to online CMS.
Liaise with stakeholders like our Merchandising and Commercial Team’s to ensure guidelines are kept up to date and business priorities are met.
Liaise with Copywriting Team from outsourced studio.
KNOW WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Experience in online copywriting with the ability to present vital information clearly.
• Interest/experience in fashion.
• Basic experience with or aptitude for working in asset management systems: CMS or DAM.
• Basic understanding of SEO.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work cross functionally.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
• Ability to work on own initiative and problem solve.
• Comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Excel.
• You should feel comfortable working with and meeting daily targets.
• You should be proactive.
• Previous experience in management of digital assets and e-commerce workflow within a retail/fashion setting, including basic familiarity with Photoshop.
• Understanding of Merchandising.
