Our Beauty Lounge department are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join their team in Brown Thomas Dublin.  Our customers expect impeccable service delivered by people with a genuine passion for luxury brands and thorough knowledge of our products.

  • Answering phones, booking and confirming appointments

  • Greeting all Beauty Lounge customers with a friendly smile

  • Strong knowledge of our Beauty Lounge product offering – attend beauty product training

  • Ensuring the customer’s journey through the beauty lounge is seamless, this includes offering our customers refreshments, coat closet, product recommendations etc.

  • Maintaining salon standards are always kept immaculate for our customers

  • Up Selling & creating add on sales

  • Dealing with customers transactions, responsible for open & closing of tills

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills



  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ Receptionist / Front of House experience within a fast paced salon beauty/hair or retail/hospitality background.

  • Experience and efficiency in the usage of the bookings system

  • Experience delivering exceptional customer service

  • Ability to build strong customer relationships with existing and new Beauty Lounge customers

  • Keeping our customers up to date with our latest product offering and in store events

  • You will show initiative and confidence along with an impeccable appearance in this role.

  • Passion for all things Beauty

  • Excellent team player

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • You’ll have previously worked within a sales environment and proven track record achieving add on sales

  • Ability to build and communicate with internal stakeholders cross functionally within the Brown Thomas Group
