The Graphics Team Lead will conceive and deliver superior creative campaigns and schemes for Arnotts across all platforms providing art direction and guidance to the graphic design team and collaborate with the visual merchandising team from concept stage through to final production. You will be responsible for a team talented Graphic designers, coordinating the work flow and coaching the team on a daily basis.

  • Own the graphic development for all campaigns and in-store schemes, being responsible for quality, consistency and presentation.
  • Manage & motivate the graphic design team to deliver consistently to the brand guidelines.  
  • Creative development of campaigns for seasonal launches, promotions, marketing events, category and brand specific launches.
  • Responding to briefs from internal clients, effectively communicating direction to the design team and selling through creative work to various stakeholder groups.
  • Design and art working of multiple visual merchandising and point of sale solutions including window graphics & vinyl’s, large format posters, small format POS etc.
  • Design and art working of various advertising solutions including outdoor, press and digital.
  • Collaborate with online/multichannel team to develop best in class digital communications and ensure all online communication is on brand.
  • Development of consumer and media messaging including look books, event invitations, loyalty card mailers etc.
  • Working with printers to ensure superior quality outputs on finished products.
  • Mentoring the graphic design team.


Skills and Experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience managing and motivating creative design teams of up to 6 people. This is essential
  • 3 years’ experience as a  graphic designer, working on major brands, with a portfolio of client-winning ideas and designs.
  • Ability to translate concepts into intelligent design and copy solutions.
  • Strong concept, presentation and stakeholder-facing skills.
  • Enjoys discipline of branding, photography, typography and digital content.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
  • Technically fluent in all creative suites and good understanding of UX design.
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently within a high pressure environment while meeting tight deadlines.
