Arnotts are looking for an experienced Department Sales Manager to join the team in our Henry Street store.
As a Sales Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to drive sales and profitability through excellent 5* customer service, exemplary standards and effective people development. Creating an exceptional experience for our customers is key to our brand success and you will be required to be a sales champion ensuring that our customer is at the forefront of everything that we do.

As a Sales Manager you will; 

  • Work with your Sales Associate Team to deliver the daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales plan in all Departments by setting clear sales targets and KPIs
  • Work with Operations Manager to analyse P+L reports on an on-going basis and take corrective action in order to protect the profitability of the department
  • Work with the Divisional Manager to ensure that comprehensive preparation is done and that correct plans are in place for the department on a week to week basis for sales, promotions, seasonal activity and any other events
  • Ensure sales briefings are conducted with the Sales Associate Team each day and that targets are set and communicated at regular intervals throughout the day
  • Be inspired by trends, the market and consider how your team could be motivated by the changing environment externally.
  • React effectively to barriers and delays in the delivery of sales and service
  • In conjunction with the Operations Manager maximise profitability and deliver planned Net Margin through effective control of all costs within your Department including payroll and operational costs
  • In conjunction with the Operations Manager deliver stock loss targets


  • Appropriate 3rd level qualification desirable
  • Minimum of 3 years in similar role (management level)
  • Proven track record as a successful Departmental or Store Manager
  • Highly organised & motivated
