FigLeaf is looking for a multifaceted Business System Analyst with strong knowledge of IT systems and has experience with implementing payments and/or subscription systems. Starting with the US, and expanding to Europe and Asia, you will have the opportunity to work with a young and energetic team to design and implement payments and subscription solutions that serves a global consumer market.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will work with a team of product managers, marketers, UX specialists, developers, and finance representatives to deliver monetization capability for a first-of-a-kind product in the consumer software market.

The FigLeaf product is available across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, IOS, Android and Web) and various channels (direct-to-consumer and strategic partners). As a Business System Analyst, you will be working with product management and marketing to understand customer and business needs; synthesize both technical and business requirements and document user stories, specifications, and data models for FigLeaf’s subscription and payment ecosystem. Components of this ecosystem include:

  • Subscription and licensing
  • Payment processing and reconciliation
  • Sales tax and VAT calculation
  • Fraud management
  • Sales and revenue reporting
  • Plans and pricing management
  • Self-service subscription management (a.k.a MyAccount)

Collaborating across Product, Marketing, Engineering and Finance, you will ensure that the solution meets the needs of the business from beginning to end. You will participate in technology evaluation, as well as help implement and operationalize FigLeaf’s Payment and Subscription systems.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • You are a problem-solver, you love to understand the ins and outs of implementation, and you enjoy finding optimal resolutions
  • You are an expert on standard methodologies and domain knowledge in the online payments and subscription space (US and International)
  • You possess a strong analytical discipline and are continually finding ways to optimize/automate the existing tools and integrations by taking a hands-on approach in dealing with configuration/system settings
  • You are a structured/analytical thinker — can simplify and present complex problems and issues in an easy-to-understand manner. Capable of identifying and defending opportunities using data
  • You are technically fluent — able to understand and discuss architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members. You possess an ability to understand technical matters outside the personal area of expertise
  • You thrive in a high paced environment and able to adapt to changes quickly

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business/System Analyst
  • 2+ years working in the e-commerce space, including both technical and business expertise
  • Experience working with different Payment Service Providers or Payment Gateways and aspects of their integration with online services
  • Have a good understanding of industry standard SaaS/subscription management processes
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Always current on the latest news in online payments domain
  • Love working in small, agile teams. Have a sense of humor and adventure

BONUS POINTS:

  • Experience working with Stripe, Vantiv, Adyen, First Data, or other payment providers
  • Experience with Apple App Store, Microsoft Store, and Android Market
