We are seeking an established video producer to help develop our video formats and storytelling approaches. The World Economic Forum’s video team works across a wide variety of content. Here's a taste of what we do: vimeo.com/showcase/weforum


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Shoot and edit high-quality video content in line with the links above, with a focus on creating engaging stories for all of our various output platforms.
  • Coordinate all of our North American video content capture and post-production operations
  • Manage and operate the content studio in our NY office
  • Collaborate with our digital team to support the production of social media video content, drawing on the Forum’s expert community for input where possible.
  • Manage internal & external creative production resources.
  • Manage video storage and archiving. Film and edit internal communication content, as required.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor degree and at least 5 years of experience in creating quality video content
  • Excellent creative and technical command of cameras, lenses, lighting, sound and post-production processes
  • Well-versed in conducting interviews, shooting b-roll and event-based footage
  • Developed understanding of online news cycles and a proven ability to tell stories to social media audiences
  • Able to juggle competing requirements without compromising quality or storytelling
  • Experienced video editor. Good working knowledge of editing tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop.
  • Familiar with studio operations, video mixing and distribution systems, podcast recording and editing
  • Able to work under tight deadlines in a busy environment, constantly juggling competing demands
  • Experienced team player with excellent communication skills
