We are seeking an established video producer to help develop our video formats and storytelling approaches. The World Economic Forum’s video team works across a wide variety of content. Here's a taste of what we do: vimeo.com/showcase/weforum
Duties and Responsibilities
Shoot and edit high-quality video content in line with the links above, with a focus on creating engaging stories for all of our various output platforms.
Coordinate all of our North American video content capture and post-production operations
Manage and operate the content studio in our NY office
Collaborate with our digital team to support the production of social media video content, drawing on the Forum’s expert community for input where possible.
Manage internal & external creative production resources.
Manage video storage and archiving. Film and edit internal communication content, as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor degree and at least 5 years of experience in creating quality video content
Excellent creative and technical command of cameras, lenses, lighting, sound and post-production processes
Well-versed in conducting interviews, shooting b-roll and event-based footage
Developed understanding of online news cycles and a proven ability to tell stories to social media audiences
Able to juggle competing requirements without compromising quality or storytelling
Experienced video editor. Good working knowledge of editing tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop.
Familiar with studio operations, video mixing and distribution systems, podcast recording and editing
Able to work under tight deadlines in a busy environment, constantly juggling competing demands
Experienced team player with excellent communication skills
