FRONT OFFICE MANAGER (SFOM018)

Job description

To be responsible for the operations of the Front Office services ensuring the highest standards of service in accordance with the operating procedures & Sani Resort standards.   

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all services at the Front Office Desk are carried out in a smooth and exceptional manner (check-in, check-out, etc.)
  • Control & Draw up the duty roster & holiday rota for Front Office staff guaranteeing quality as well as considering the highest personnel cost efficiency
  • Maintain effective communication with all related departments  especially housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Participate in departmental staff selection
  • Identify training needs, in order to develop and manage performance
  • Maintain high visibility with guests and employees, handle customers’ complaints and take proactively immediate corrective action
  • Have constant detailed hotel product knowledge, up-to-date with guest & VIP arrivals & events within the hotel

 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Front Office or Assistant Front Office Manager in a 5* hotel (ideally over 200 rooms)
  • Degree in Hospitality / Tourism (desirable)
  • Computer Literacy & knowledge of Hospitality software (Opera, Fidelio)
  • Fluency in Greek & English, extra language (German or Russian would be considered a plus) 
  • Strong communicative, interpersonal, managerial & problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management, multitask & organizational skills
