ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER (SARM018)

 

Job Description

The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for the planning, organization, direction and control of the restaurant operation and administration ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and financial results as per company standards and requirements.

 

Responsibilities

  • Closely monitor and control the food and beverage cost of the outlet.
  • To ensure that all employees provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
  • Plan the outlet weekly roster and work schedules to ensure that the outlet is adequately staffed to handle the level of business.
  • Identify recruitment and training staff needs of the outlet and to recruit the suitable department staff.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-groomed with a positive attitude, inspiring and respectful
  • Able to c reate expectations and lead people
  • Detail-oriented, passionate and focused on providing high quality results
  • 3-5 years of 5* hospitality experience within an upscale or fine-dining concept.
  • Proactive and able to perform exceptionally under pressure
  • Excellent command of English language. Knowledge of a second foreign language (preferably Russian, French or German) and hospitality education would be considered as extra assets
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of Micros or other P.O.S. appliances
