Job Details:

Our client's Biologics Analytical Department located in Switzerland is part of their global Bioprocess Development Division, working in this department the successful applicant will be collaborating with their counterparts in the UK, U.S and Netherlands, and will support analytical method development. The role will perform routine lab testing and will also be responsible for training new analysts. The position offers development potential and responsibilities can be adjusted to the candidate’s qualifications and ambitions. 
Main areas of responsibility include:

  •  Perform analytical testing in the lab (raw material, in-process intermediates, release and stability samples)
  •  As a site HPLC SME (Subject Matter Expert) to collaborate with global bioanalytical development teams.
  •  Prepare and execute analytical method transfers between a variety of CROs and other organizations.
  •  Train new analysts

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Biological Sciences with 2+ years’ working experience
  • Or Lab technician education with 2+ years of relevant Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Experience with analytical testing with HPLC method ( e.g., PS-80, N-glycan)
  • Experience with drug substance and drug product release, stability and characterization for biologics.
  • GMP working experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and German

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with working as part of internal cross functional/cross divisional teams
  • Experience on analytical method qualification and transfers
