Crew Planner

 

Overall responsibility

To provide adequate cockpit and cabin crew for Wizz Air flights. To prepare crew rosters for each month and to track and check them continuously.

Responsibilities include

  • Creating pairings upon the schedule and duty rules taking Wizz Air economy interest into consideration with optimal crew rotation.
  • Preparing rosters for every month taking Wizz Air interest into consideration
  • Tracking, monitoring and modifying, cockpit and cabin crew rosters during the daily operation outside the 72 hours’ time frame
  • Continuous cooperation with the Duty Manager Operations and Cockpit- and Cabin Crew Dispatcher
  • In case of any kind of crew shortage (i.e. sickness) provide adequate crew outside the 72 hours’ time frame
  • Daily cooperation with Flight and Cabin Operations
  • Continuous checking of the duty and flight time limitations (daily, calendar month, calendar quarter year, and calendar year)
  • Updating the personal crew data base and the working rule regulations and rest requirements
  • Determine the required quantity of cockpit and cabin crew members for any schedule period
  • Continuous cooperation with the Training Department representatives & Crew Training Planning Manager in terms of rostering principles and training requirements
  • Delivering efficiently the Operations Planning KPI’s
  • Identification of crewing, rostering bottlenecks regarding roster coverage and efficiency

Requirements

  • College or University degree
  • Fluent spoken / written English
  • Good computing knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Good communication and problem-solving
  • Creative thinking, attention to details
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of AIMS Crew and Ops system and knowledge of Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements are advantages
