Cadet Program Manager 

(Based in Budapest)

Purpose of the position:

The Cadet Program Manager is responsible for the oversight of all elements of the Wizz Air Cadet Program. This position ensures to establish the strategic goals of the program and supervises the implementation throughout the organization, including external partners. This position reports directly to the Head of Crew Resources and follows instructions of the Head of ATO.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To overview and align Wizz Air Cadet Programs
  • Preparation of program calendar (incl. recruitment)
  • Create and maintain connection with Cadet enrolled to Wizz Air Cadet Programs. Permanent communication stream with the cadets including feedback loop will enable them to get into the Wizz culture, being part of a team and is providing valuable insides for improvements
  • Envision the Future of Cadet Programs to have enough guaranteed trainees at the most efficient and tailor made form to Wizz Air
  • Creating strategy for target markets in line with long term network development plans
  • Establish an effective x-functional process and implement into PROMAPP
  • Initiate and monitor marketing activities to boost candidate numbers and program awareness
  • Select & create a recruitment platform best suited for Airline Standards
  • Improvement of candidate selection methods
  • Follow up of trainee numbers required vs in the pipeline
  • Follow Trainee Applications, Recruitment, Training Progress & and any changes with Wizz Air ATO
  • To maintain airline standards in training with Service Providers
  • Able to liaise with Service Providers and Present Wizz Air in our Cadet Programs
  • Be familiar & able to follow regulatory changes of Initial Pilot Training and Recruitments
  • Be able to maintain & update current contracts Be familiar with market conditions to be able to create new contracts

Requirements:

  • University Degree
  • Min 3 years working experience
  • Able to work in a team oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with managing cross functional programs
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet established targets, and work within critical milestones
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal/written, and presentation), organizational, evaluation, and negotiation skills
  • Must be self-disciplined, structured, possess follow-up
  • Must be able to travel
