Student for Facilities

 

The Student works closely with and reports to the Facility Manager. The successful candidate will support and ensure that all tasks are carried out according to the company’s procedures.

Important part of the role is involvement in smaller provider selection processes (tenders), in particular internal need assessments, Request for Proposal formulations, project management, price negotiation and preparation for decision for the facility manager.

The ideal candidate acquires a knowledge of the necessary communication and negotiation skills in a competitive corporate/business environment, and will enhance ownership and responsibility, nevertheless has the possibility and support to develop one’s self-awareness.

 

Responsibilities

  • Providing regular general support to the Facility Manager

  • Optimizing seating layout in the leased facilities of Wizz Air (drawing layout in paint, liaising with the affected departments etc.)

  • Supporting the occupation of the new facilities

  • Dealing with day-to-day facility-related issues in the headquarters (liaising with cleaners, maintenance personnel etc.)

  • Supporting the tendering/contracting process with providers (conducting market research for potential suppliers, handling queries and questions of potential suppliers/bidders, summarizing bids in Excel, taking part in partner negotiations etc.)

  • Supporting invoice approval process

  • Contract management (printing, getting signed, posting, follow up)

  • Updating databases (about hotels, leased facilities, GDPR etc.)
  • Organizing meetings

  • Supporting the creation and change of internal procedures and automation tools

  • Ad hoc requirements

 

 Requirements

  • Active university student status in Hungary

  • Fluency in English

  • Ability to work min. 30 hours/week

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written

  • Good MS Office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook is a must)

  • Technical orientation or studies are of an advantage

  • Team player with ‘can do’ and ‘hungry for learning’ attitude

  • Project and process management skills

  • Taste and capacity to negotiate

  • Flexibility and attention to detail

  • Ability to work on multiple priorities and in fast changing environment
