We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for an Engagement Specialist to join the Engagement and Change team. You'll support the Senior People Manager - Engagement & Change in designing and developing our colleague engagement strategy to support delivery of the Morrisons plan. You'll develop and implement activities that respond to colleague and customer feedback to motivate our colleagues and improve their working environment.        

Engagement Specialists at Morrisons:

  • Ensure that the company Ways of Working are embedded throughout the organisation to improve the colleague and customer experience
  • Develop activity in response to data received from the 'Your Say' surveys and listening groups that will improve communication and morale within the organisation
  • Explore and consider ways to improve the working environment for our colleagues
  • Run the engagement survey & reporting
  • Run the ‘Your Say’ listening programme – defining the framework and organizing national meetings
  • Support the delivery of our Fresh Look listening programme across our Retail estate
  • Develop activity across the different functions to recognise high performing colleagues and teams
  • Support change activity focused on improving sales, service and profitability

What skills and experience do I need?

  • Good understanding of Culture and Employee Engagement
  • Ability to develop activity that can be translated into operational business plans
  • Ability to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; tailoring messages with impact for different audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service approach 
  • Good analytical thinking
  • Commercial and financial understanding
  • Experience of delivering under pressure and in situations of ambiguity
  • Experience of delivering cultural change programme
