Description

Our client is a world leading language services provider, offering translation and localization services with advanced technologies services, highly scalable global marketing solutions and several other services.

Position Summary:

They are now looking for a new Global Account Manager in Amsterdam to foster and develop revenue from large accounts, promote the company to potential buyers, manage customer relationship, service implementation and execution for named customers; customer revenue, quality, support and development and profitability monitoring; maintain measures so that executives in the company can assess performance. This position comes with a high basic, commission and many benefits.

Native level Dutch and business level English are required.

We will prioritise candidates with localization experience and who have worked on large accounts for world leading companies in industries like Science, Technology, Hi-tech, IT and Life Sciences. We welcome applicants who either come from a farmer type background with a sales target, or from a hunter type background who are ready to move into Account Management.

Responsibilities

  • Meet quarterly quota defined for the fiscal year.
  • Utilize track record and relationships with new contacts to find additional business and revenue.
  • Constant managing and monitoring of customer satisfaction, complaints and compliments for the named accounts.
  • Manage and escalate any issues regarding customer satisfaction to the appropriate person.
  • Track sales activity in Salesforce.
  • Keep information updated and correct at all times.
  • Ensure that opportunities are 100% accurate at all times.
  • Follow agreed reporting, tracking and meeting practices within the sales team.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Strong sales skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English, other languages a plus.
  • Proven success record in customer relationship work, for example in a Sales position or as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager.
  • Understanding of localization industry processes, technology, trends and competition.
  • Understanding of marketing automation and digital marketing services area are advantages.
  • Strong organisation skills as well as knowledge of software and systems for the planning and forecasting and sales opportunities.
  • Experience in quote and budget creation.
  • Proactive.
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with a high level of professionalism necessary to build customer confidence and loyalty.
