London: Client focused Project Manager and future Account Manager

Our client is a world leading language services provider, offering translation and localization services with advanced technologies services, highly scalable global marketing solutions and several other services.

They are now looking for a new Project Manager who enjoys meeting clients and who can keep them updated of relevant and new services. The career path is someone who could develop into an Account Manager in the future. We are ideally looking for experience from working with finance projects. This position is office based in central London.

Position Summary:
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a key account in the financial sector. The role requires collaboration with internal and external teams, in particular linguistic and technology services, as well as management to maintain and improve customer satisfaction, revenue and margin. In addition to ensuring quality and on-time delivery, the key focus will be to act as an advocate for improvements, new services and offerings that will further improve customer satisfaction.

Position responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and serve as primary day-to-day contact for external clients.
  • Working with production teams and plan and monitor projects to meet deadline, quality and budget requirements. Focus on continuous improvement and cost savings through offshoring and utilisation of global skillsets within the company.
  • Own and maintain project financials, including revenue recognition, reporting and billing.
  • Manage best-in-class on-boarding of new customers with the support of the wider company team (Technical Services, Sales, Operations, Management, etc.)
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial project data, workflows, schedules and processes to maximise efficiency and profitability.
  • Resolve questions and issues in a timely and effective manner for clients and internal teams. Ensure production teams are equipped to effectively manage standard queries and day-to-day tasks.
  • Organise and participate in account reviews and meetings with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal and external production teams to create, implement and maintain appropriate client or project-specific procedures, solutions, checklists and instructions.
  • Receive client feedback, lead investigation to identify causes of service/linguistic errors and take corrective actions to improve quality and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to goals and site initiatives by achieving performance targets.


  • Minimum 4 years project management experience.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous localisation and/or digital marketing experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English. Other languages an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong experience using Microsoft packages.

Salary: £32k +/- pa, depending on experience, company bonus
