Our client is a thriving technical authoring, translation and localisation company in Surrey. They work with companies of all sizes, and are particularly strong in e-learning, software and psychometrics.

This is a role for an experienced sales person, who thrives on getting under the skin of customer problems and working with them to agree how to solve them. You are very well organised with a strong sense of responsibility. You are a clear and confident communicator, and know how to get the best from expert colleagues so that the customer will understand the value of the services. You may already have team leadership or management experience, and this role includes leading, organising and growing a small team.

Our client has an in-house team of 35, based in Surrey and in Poland.

Ideal career profile: Several years of successful sales experience in the translation and localization industry, backed up by a previous operational role, a strong technical or linguistic degree, and some team leadership or management experience.

Target: £800K revenue target over first two years.

The role is office based (when not spending time with customers) and has three main areas of responsibility:

  • 40% of time focused of activity that identifies and secures new customers that have the potential to deliver £100K revenue per year.
  • 40% of time focused on activity that helps grow nominated existing accounts that have recently delivered £100K revenue per year.
  • 20% of time focused on team leadership and management

Remuneration: Around £40K basic + commission.
