HR Intern

Location: Fónua, Cairn House


This is an unpaid internship, with paid travel expenses and completion bonus.


Main Responsibilities are not limited to but will include;


  • Preparation of Induction packs
  • Co-ordination of Orientation
  • Assisting the HR and Recruitment Co-Ordinator with on-boarding new employees
  • CV Screening and shortlisting
  • Advertising roles on relevant sites and liaising with recruitment agencies
  • Setting up interviews and liaising with candidates
  • Managing video interview process
  • Reference checking

HR administration

  • Maintenance of the HR system
  • Responding to employee requests for correspondence
  • Recording of minutes for HR related meetings
  • Organisation of Personnel Filing System  
  • Preparation for HR audits


  • Assisting the HR team with Co-ordination of social events and company initiatives
  • Assisting with company CSR initiative
  • Preparation of engagement team minutes
  • Dealing with Facilities requests
  • Scheduling training and follow up with training provider
  • Training evaluation follow up
  • Ad-hoc administration for HR team
  • Involvement in HR projects
  • Responsible for new electronic filing system project

Essential Qualifications/Experience

  • Degree in Human Resources
  • 6 Months post qualification experience is preferable

  • Ability to deal with sensitive issues and dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to complete tasks, maintain documentation, and adhere to best practice standards
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to balance and prioritise multiple projects
  • Self-motivated with drive, enthusiasm and commitment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Able to manage a busy workload, prioritize and organize
  • Strong team-working abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of and interest in the telecom sector
