Description

You will report to the People Director, and work with senior leaders and key contacts across the business to drive and deliver an effective internal communications strategy.

 

You’ll be building on the work we’ve done over the past year to improve the way we communicate with our people - enabling them to feel:

Typical Job Accountabilities

 

- Act as a trusted advisor for internal communications at Boden. You’ll be working with senior leaders and key contacts across the business to help them create and deliver effective and engaging plans to effectively communicate with our people in our offices, our call centres, warehouses and our shops

- You’ll oversee all internal communications plans and activities across the business, scheduling content across our key internal channels , including: Our monthly CEO newsletter, Boden Intranet News (SharePoint), Yammer, Digital signage, Posters and monthly and quarterly Face to Face events

- Plan, edit and write content for a variety of channels , working with our in-house creative teams to make sure content shared is on-brand and in line with our tone of voice

- You’ll research and develop new channels and creative ideas in line with best practice and trends within the industry to help involve and engage our people in where the business is headed

- You’ll use your knowledge and experience to coach and grow the communication capability of our managers and key people across the business
 

- You’ll be instrumental in running our quarterly and annual employee surveys, working with the People Team to ensure action plans and outcomes are communicated effectively with everyone

- You’ll line manage and support the ongoing development of our Internal Communications and Engagement Coordinator

 

Experience

- Excellent writing and proof reading skills – with the ability to turn complex messages into clear, consistent communications, tailored to different audiences – with a little Boden charm and wit thrown in

- Experience working with Office365 communications tools – SharePoint and Yammer

- Comfortable working with and building lasting relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels

- Experience of managing relationships with external agencies

- Able to influence without authority and build collaborative relationships focused on shared outcomes
