We are looking for a Customer Support Officer to join the Back Office / Controls Unit in our Banking Department. The successful candidate will be mainly involved in reconciliation of confirmations and settlements and will be performing static data maintenance and audit requests.

Principal accountabilities: 

Ability to cover a variety of Back Office tasks, possibly on a rotational basis. These include:

  • Investigate and resolve confirmation mismatches and settlement failures together with front office, custodians and customers.
  • Static data and settlement instructions maintenance.
  • May participate in small IT projects.
  • Production of reports.    

Qualification and skills:  

  • Commercial diploma or equivalent.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Good knowledge of financial instruments.
  • Good experience of S.W.I.F.T messaging formats.
  • Knowledge of Reuters & Bloomberg information systems.
  • Flexible, cooperative, good team member.
  • Ability to work methodically and accurately even under pressure.
  • Customer-focused.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and promptly.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Fluency in English. Knowledge of German or French desirable.

Work experience:  

  • Minimum of one year’s work experience Back or Front office activities.
  • Desirable: Experience with integrated trading systems.
