Senior Managed Services - Server Engineer – L3 Escalation Support

Position: Full-time Daily Rate Contract

Duration: 6 months + (potential for extension or permanancy)

Estimated start date:  July 2017

Location: Dublin 22

 

Description:

We are currently hiring for a motivated, self-driven Managed Services Support Engineer to provide comprehensive Level 3 support. Joining a managed services support team in a very busy environment you will be responsible for supporting a variety of SME and Enterprise level companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 3 escalation technical server support across multiple sites.

  • Office 365 and Azure escalation support from L1 and L2 engineers

  • Provide support for problem resolution ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction

  • Deliver support to agreed Service Level Agreements

  • Experienced in troubleshooting IT Hardware – Servers, Desktops, Laptops and Printers; OS – Microsoft Windows 200x, business applications, Exchange & SQL

  • Experienced supporting Anti-Virus Solutions, Virtualisation products (Hyper-V and VMWare), Firewalls, Routers and Switches, LAN/WAN technologies

  • Utilised remote monitoring and access tools - Kaseya

  • Flexible and willing to work outside normal business hours if necessary

Requirements:

  • Previous escalated L3 server support experience in a corporate managed services environment

  • Existing relevant Microsoft certifications

  • Strong proactive customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Ability to prioritse and manage time effectively

  • Must have ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ideally having your own mode of transport and clean driver’s license
