Building on current success and increasing demand, they are now looking to add a new BDM to join their international, dynamic and goal-oriented environment.

The role:

The business developer will manage the growth of the customer base by acquiring new accounts through promotion and sales of localization Services and the large range of up- and downstream solutions.

The job is not office based; the candidate will be able to use all German company offices but will primarily meet clients on-site in Germany, covering Northern and Western areas by ideally  living in North-Rhine Westfalia. The business developer manager will be reporting to the Sales and Business Development Manager and in close relation with the Managing Director of Germany and executive management.

Role responsibilities:

  • Identify prospective customers for Language Services and Content/Document Management within defined industries and geographical territories
  • Cold-call, prospect, and qualify into target accounts and leads
  • Manage sales cycles to closure, including discovery, product demonstration, validation, proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Identify prospective customers for Language Services and Content/Document Management within defined industries and geographical territories
  • Work with the sales operations and marketing teams to execute sales campaigns and marketing strategies
  • Writing offers with high technological content
  • Actively participate in sales activities to identify and close add-on sales and opportunities to the existing customer base
  • Analyze the market and continuously screen its developments to react effectively to opportunities and trends
  • Influence portfolio to better meet market demand based on customers’ requests and input

Ideal profile:

  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in German and a very good command of English
  • Current Location is North-Rhine Westfalia
  • 3 years’ relevant experience in business development and/or sales of complex services to medium/large B2B customers of manufacturing, automation or energy industries
  • Strong track record of building qualified sales pipelines through direct or partner sales, strategic selling, working independently and as part of a team selling model
  • Self-starter with the ability to efficiently work in a multi-cultural, multi product line environment.
